How does Bags Of Banners works?

As a user you will be able to add banners in our network or create banner spaces. You will have Impression Credits, a credit equals one banner impression. You can add credits to your account by buying credits using our packages, or you can earn them by adding a banner space on your website.

 

What is a banner space?

A "Banner Space" is an area on your website where we will display banners from our network to your visitors. By displaying banner spaces on your website you will earn credits which you can use for displaying your own banners in our network.

You'll be able to add banner spaces on your website by placing a small JavaScript code inside your HTMLs or templates. Currently our system only allows you to have a single space per page.

 

When will the credits earned by my banner space be added to my account?

At the end of each day our system will automatically calculates the impressions your banner space had through the day and then add the corresponding credits to your account.

 

Why does my Banners or/and Banner Spaces have a "Pending" status?

In some cases the banners and banner spaces will be moderated to ensure our network quality; they will appear as Pending until one of our admins manually activates them.

 

How does the space embed code work?

The space embed code is a simple JavaScript that you will need to add on your webpages to display our banners. The banners will display at the exact location where you added your code.

 

Can I modify the way banners are layed out on my space?

Yes. Using CSS you can modify the layout settings like space between the banners, border color, etc.

There are two classes you can modify:

• .bes This is the main container of all the banners. This is a div item.
• .bes_item This is the individual item container for each banners.

 

I added the embed code but the banners are not displaying.

There are several things that might be preventing our banners from displaying in your page.

1. Verify that you have copied and pasted the embed code correctly.
2. The embed code will only work in the domain you have chosen. If your space is configured to work on mysite.com it won't work on myothersite.com.
3. Only one embed code per page is allowed per moment. This means that if you embed two or more codes in the same page, only one will actually work.
